Itinerary For Egypt

Cairo / Giza / Pyramids / Sakkara / Aswan / Isis / Kom Ombo / Edfu / Luxor / Dendarah / Valley of Kings / Karnak / Luxor Temple / Old Cairo / Egyptian Museum / Khan El Khalil Market

Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you will be met by your Quest Travel representative who will assist you through customs before transferring you to your luxury accommodations at the  Four Seasons First Residence.                                                             (No meals)

After enjoying our breakfast we will have our welcome orientation where we open up our hearts for our sacred journey and get connected with all of the group.

We then visit the most famous Egyptian Museum, and enjoy your guide’s explanation about some of the most ancient Egyptian artifacts; the Narmer Palette, Ra-hotep and Nofert’s legendary statues, Khafra’s immaculate diorite statue, Hatschepsut’s statues and sphinxes, the artifacts and gold of Tut-ankh-Amon, you will have time to wander the museum in quiet solitude to ponder the artifacts left to us by the pharaohs and to contemplate the mysteries surrounding the great dynasties.  

 After Lunch we visit Khan El Khalili Market One of the oldest shopping districts in the world, it’s like going back to the time of Ali Baba and Aladdin.  Merchants have been trading on this site since at least the 14th century.  In 1384 an emir named Al Khalili built a great Khan here, a three-story hostelry intended to accommodate traveling merchants and their wares.  Buyers visited the khan for the goods brought in on the merchant caravans, and the selling and bartering spread to the streets around.  the earliest surviving parts of the bazaar today are several great stone gateways that date back to the 1500's.                                                 (Breakfast / Lunch)

In the Early morning after breakfast, we’ll drive to Sakkara to view the Old Kingdom pyramids on the west bank near ancient Memphis.  About, 2630 B.C.  Imhotep, architect to King Djoser (Dynasty III), masterminded the Step Pyramid at Sakkara. The world’s oldest freestanding stone structure, this pyramid consists of six tiers atop a mastaba, or low, oblong tomb, faced with cut stone. Visit one of the carpet school where Egyptian children hand make carpets out of their own imagination.      

Late lunch we will take place at a typical Egyptian restaurant at the countryside.

Early Morning after breakfast we checkout the Meridian Hotel and visit Old Cairo to see St. Sergio church where the holy family was hidden while they were in Egypt and then visit the old Jewish Synagogue. We will visit the Amro Ibn El Mosque then a short drive to have our lunch.    

Following lunch we are transferred to Cairo airport to get on our short flight to Aswan.the Pearl of the Nile and upon arrival we check into our beautiful Sailing Private Yacht “Dahabeya Afandina”.                                                                    (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

In the very early morning we return to the source of all, the Great Mother, to receive the blessings of Isis at her beautiful island temple at Philae. This represents a fusion of three great civilizations – Egyptian, Greek and Roman. The presence of Isis is palpable in the inner sanctum, the Holy of Holies of her temple. After exploring the grounds and some storytelling on the island.

In the evening, we will be wandering around in the Nubian market to enjoy its colorful spirit.

Sailing on the Nile to visit the only dual temple in Egypt at Kom Ombo. This dramatic temple poised between the edge of the River and the encroaching desert sand was dedicated to two gods - Sobek the crocodile god of strength, fortitude, fertility and rebirth, and Horus the hawk-headed son of Isis and Osiris...

Free relaxing day to sail on the Nile to Edfu and enjoy the countryside of Egypt where you enjoy the sailing to Relax, Refresh, and Recharge by jumping into the Jacuzzi and empty your soul and mind by listening to your favorite music. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Today we enjoy another beautiful sailing day on the Nile. In the early afternoon we will visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. Here, we follow the pattern of the hero’s quest as we learn how Horus and his followers (the Shemsu Hor) conquered chaos, and we see the sacred marriage of the king and queen as the embodiment of Horus and the goddess Hathor. The side chambers of the temple show the complexity of the rites that include a healing chamber, a perfumery, and singers’ rooms. One chamber, called the House of Life, stored all of the sacred texts used in seasonal and daily rituals.

Today we will set sail toward Esna , and delight in watching the timeless beauty along the Nile. We will meet on deck to have our sharing experience as we pass by Esna’s lock..

In the evening, we will visit Luxor Temple to invoke the sacred within the human vessel that why it is called the ' Temple of Man'. Overnight on the Afandina at Luxor.

Early Morning we ahead to “Hathor Temple” in Dendera to visit the exquisite temple dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of abundance, love and joy. The temple is built with a zodiacal ceiling that recalls the origins of Egypt. On the rooftop where Hathor priests and priestesses gathered for their celebrations thousands of years ago, we reconnect to our destinies.

This early morning we make our way to pilgrimage to Deir el Bahari, the funerary temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut. We also visit the Necropolis of Thebes on the West Bank of the Nile. The West Bank holds the Valley of Kings the tombs of the pharaohs that are inscribed with sacred transformative texts, including the books of knowing light and dark, the book of what is in the underworld, the book of caverns, and naming and taming the hours of the night. Here are the tombs of Tutankhamun, Ramses III and VII, Seti I, Thutmosis III, and many others.  We will also visit the Colossi of Memnon.

In the Early Morning, we tour Karnak temple, one of the largest temple complexes in the world. Karnak recalls us to the powerful acts of creation, of beginning anew, and of building on the divine plan. It has been home for more than 3,500 years to the living statue of the lioness goddess, Sekhmet, who will instigate our mystery school rites of passage.  We will write and receive initiations inside the temple complex.

In the afternoon, we take our short flight to Cairo and Check in Mena House hotel.

In the early morning we will have a private visit to the Great pyramid two full hour privately to meditate inside the Queen's Chamber & King's Chamber and energize your soul and heart with an experience of a lifetime.

Then we are going to visit the Giza Plateau; to see some of the most awesome Wonders of the World to touch them and to feel them — the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau. We study them and pay particular attention to the Sphinx, especially when you stand privately between the Paws of the Sphinx. Our guide, who is an encyclopedia of Egyptology, will give us detailed explanation of various controversial theories surrounding these amazing structures.

Back to our hotel for hot buffet breakfast.. 

In the evening, we’ll enjoy our farewell dinner where we share our Egyptian experience of the beloved Egypt.                                          (Breakfast / Dinner)
